This is moonshine Gorge..not a long walk and nobody there so we had a great swim...
Boab trees will always be my favourite now...they are interesting how they bottle at bottom..they have an unusual nut that is the size of a medium to large egg plant (same shape too)...the inside use to be crushed down and used for flour ....
When I first sighted this I thought it was some left over ritual practice because the white debris you can see is actually animal bones. However Funk 'n' Wagnal (Daryl) informed be that this was the Bower Birds mating markers. As you can see further in the photo's below the bones are carefully placed leading up to the fine architecture of nest. Apparently the Bower bird only collects white or Green objects to attract his partner.
